Monthly General Meeting:
When: Wednesday. June 17, 2026.
Where: Fraserview Community Hall, 22610 116th Avenue, Maple Ridge.
Time: Doors open at 6.30 PM and meeting starts at 7.00 PM.
Note: Kindly remember to wear your lanyard with your green 2026 membership ID card. Starting with the April meeting, you must have a green 2026 membership card or pay the guest fee. Club will continue to enroll for memberships at our monthly meetings.
June Guest Speaker: Exemplar Horticulture
Exemplar Horticulture was founded by Ewan Mackenzie in 2005 with a special focus on ornamental grasses. Since 2021 it has been owned and operated by Greg and Paula Baxter who proudly serve wholesale customers in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Washington state. They are a wholesale nursery based in Abbotsford, British Columbia and specialize in ornamental grasses, perennials, and edible herbs and vegetables. They will have plants to sell!

Our Annual Plant Sale was another huge success! The diversity and selection of plants that arrived this year was absolutely amazing. Heartfelt thank you to all our incredible volunteers - not the just the people on the day of the sale, but also the many members who spent countless hours dividing, potting, watering, labelling, hauling and lovingly caring for plants for weeks and even months beforehand.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated delicious goodies! The amount of time, materials and love that went into all those baked goods was so appreciated!
